Yes, I had heard of T-Pain before but I couldn’t tell you any of his songs or collaborations. This Tiny Desk Concert from NPR is the first time I’ve paid attention. I love the stripped-down quality but what is really fantastic is the discordance between the tender, evocative Rhodes sound on that keyboard and his crazy lyrics about drankin’ with shawties. I really can’t get enough of this.
